The Coercive Acts

The British imposed acts to the colonists. The British knew this acts as the Coercive Acts, yet the coloniste named them the Intolerable Acts. The Acts that were enacted by the Parliament were five and they included:
A) The Massachusetts Government Act
B) The Quartering Act
C) The Quebec Act
D) The Administration of Justice Act
E) The Boston Port Act

Ok, let's get down to business. The topic of this blog is The Coercive Acts and therefore I am going to explain more about this intolerable acts. The coercive acts were called like this in Great Britain, however the name changed here in the colonies. They were known as the intolerable acts and the colonists were furious because of this acts. They were completely outrageous and you can think of them as mad! The people oppossed the enactment of this laws and they planned to do everything it took to stop this laws. The laws were passed in 1774, they were promoted under the legislature of King George III. The Acts were thought as a way to restore order in the rebellious Massachusetts after the Boston Tea Party incident.
