Patriot Leaders: Samuel Adams


Leadership. An important trait that helps people in their life. When someone is a leader he has the power of moving masses. That's exactly what Samuel Adams did. Samuel Adams was born in Boston,Massachusetts on September 27,1722. His father was a merchant and a brewer He was a successful politician. Samuel Adams was actually the cousin of John Adams(not his brother). Samuel Adams liked to be in the public eye, therefore he was a good leader for the group of the resistance. He was appointed for the Continental Congress in 1776. Samuel Adams was one of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence. In 1782, Samuel left his charge as representative in the Continental Congress and returned to his home:Massachusetts. Samuel Adams is known also for being a leader of the Sons of Liberty, a group that was against the Parliament and therefore the British Empire.
